Let Go......

"Let Go"

What is your first thought when you see this image?  Is it fear?  Is it anxiety? Do you bombard yourself with a bunch of questions: "how did she get up there"?  "Is she crazy"?  "Why is she up there"? "What if she falls"?

 My first thought when I see this image is: YESSSSS!!!!  I see ME!
I don't know how I got there- but I'm here.
I don't know why I'm up there- but I'm here.
Yes I may fall- but maybe I won't.
Am I crazy- probably just a tad bit.

 See, this is me because my word for 2019 is "Let Go".  When I see this image, I see all that I have to let go of: the fear, the anxiety, the apprehension, the doubt, the uncertainty, my way of thinking, my comfort zone.

 I have to allow myself to be vulnerable- to what God is going to do through me.  I'm fine hiding in the background.  I'm perfectly comfortable right where I am.  But it's not where God needs me to be.  
God needs me in the place of uncertainty because that means I rely, trust and depend on Him.  
God needs me in the place of unfamiliarity because that means I have to stay alert and tap in to Holy Spirit even more.  
God needs me out in the open because that means I can't hide or play shy. 

 So when I see this image and I imagine myself in her place......I see FAITH!

 Ready for what God has in store for 2019

This last week I was kind of in a funk…not funky lol but just feeling blah.   I let the cares of my world get to me. It's Time 4 Transparency

God dropped this into my spirit several months ago.  A friend was asking me what she should name her twitter account. It was for women who were victorious over a life in the entertainment industry. The purpose of the account was for a group of women to share their testimonies in hopes that women who are currently in the entertainment would be delivered.  Immediately the name Time4Transparency came to me. I tried to get a message to her with the name but I was having trouble sending it.  A few minutes later, she told me she created the account cuz she came up with the name. I kinda was sad cuz I liked the name God told me. Later that day I heard God whisper to me: it was meant for you. Not Just visitation.........

So this morning while I was praying....I asked God to never let me leave His presence. I don't just want visitation but i want habitation.  I asked Him how do I do this. He asked me what does Psalm 34:1 say? I said it says: I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. He said well you know that I inhabit the praises of my people (according to Psalm 22:3). I said yes Lord.  Then He responded live Psalm 34:1. If you continually praise me, I will inhabit your praise.The word continually means without cessation or intermission; unceasingly; always. The word inhabit means to live or dwell in (a place), as people; to exist or be situated within; dwell in.  When we always have a praise of thanks giving for God, He will dwell within us....Many times we complain that we don't feel God's presence.
